The Indian Association of Equine Practitioners (IAEP) was started in 1993 by a committed group of Equine Veterinarians who wanted to break age old traditional barriers. The aim was to foster an environment of cooperation and knowledge sharing, for mutual benefit. Over the years the IAEP has held numerous Technical Seminars, Wetlabs, and Workshops, with Speakers of both National and International renown.
Of particular interest are the WEVA Intermediate Meetings held in Pune, Meerut, and Bangalore. Members of the IAEP have done charitable work with the Blue Cross, with mules in the Remount Veterinary Corps, and in areas such as Matheran, with working horses and ponies. Members have been involved in providing Continuing Education at various Colleges, and at the RVC Headquarters in Meerut.
Through our Website we provide information on employment opportunities, both at home and abroad. From an initial group of 30 - 40 Veterinarians in 1993 with a predominantly Western India focus, we have grown to over 140 Members, from across the length and breadth of the country.
